Challenge
It was crucial to make the booking very comfortable for our customers. Most of our customers book appointments in the evening or on weekends – so it was important that they can book autonomously 24/7.
hen founding the company in 2015 we found out that it is key to offer bookings via smartphones. As almost none of the competitors was able to offer bookings on smartphones but a lot of customers were looking for massage services through smartphones. For us, it was important to have a tool which is embeddable into our existing website to keep the users on our page without leaving it – without additional costs per booking. Also, it was critical to automate the routine to free capacities for our staff so they could invest their time and focus on providing outstanding service to the customers instead of administrative stuff.
Solution
It took around half a month to conduct research and pick Bookly among 10 different competitors. Bookly appeared to be the best tool on the market which offered the most flexibility and is the most convenient for the customers. The flexibility was important for us as we did not know how our company will develop. As we purchased bookly at a quite early stage, there were some minor bugs – like handling winter/summer-time, API-issues with Google calendar. But most of the issues were handled and fixed by the support team within the short period. And it took us less than a day to set-up and configure Bookly. In the early stages, we provided additional contact details besides Bookly. And in 2017 we removed all contact data from our website, so just booking via Bookly was possible.

Our massage staff loves it as the calendar fills up itself with customers without doing administrative work. And our marketing staff loves it as Bookly is very easy to handle and provides great support. The flexibility offered by Bookly allowed us to test where to place the booking form on the website, conduct A/B-Tests and increase the conversion rate. After about five months after implementing Bookly, we had a conversion rate of 21% (visitors to buyers). Bookly saved us up 300 hours of time. We grew our online sales from 0% (at the start) to 50% (share after about one year) to 100% (now we accept bookings only through Bookly as we optimized all our processes – and Bookly is the heart of it).
